1TULAH.COM – Samsung has just revealed the Galaxy Ring at the MWC 2024 event, as well as providing more information regarding the wearable device, including its compatibility support with non-Samsung devices.
Dr. Hon Pak, VP of Digital Health at Samsung, stated that the Galaxy Ring will support Samsung Galaxy phones, and can even be used in conjunction with the Galaxy Watch to improve data tracking results.
Meanwhile, Samsung is trying to make the Galaxy Ring usable by non-Samsung Android phone users, similar to other Samsung wearable devices. However, Pak confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will not be compatible with the iPhone.
Samsung is confident in the capabilities of the Galaxy Ring and is aware of the challenges in terms of compatibility between Android and iOS. They hope that the sophistication of the Galaxy Ring can attract iPhone users to switch to the Samsung ecosystem.
Apart from that, Samsung also revealed some information about the dimensions and battery life of the Galaxy Ring. This device will be available in several sizes, with weights ranging from 2.3 grams to 2.9 grams.
