How to Transfer Data from iPhone to Android Phone?
iPhone users who want to move to an Android device have a big challenge in transferring their data. This is because Android devices do not provide Apple’s Quick Share feature. However, to move data from iOS to Android, you don’t need to do everything manually. You can download an application called Switch to Android provided by Google via the App Store, as reported by Makeuseof.
Once you have downloaded the application, the next step is to log in to your Google account and follow the instructions provided. This application will help you move various kinds of data, ranging from contacts, videos, photos, calendar information, device settings, and much more.
You can also move WhatsApp conversations from your iPhone to a new Android device. It’s best to back up your data first before transferring, this also applies to other social media applications.
If you are worried about losing data such as photos, videos or documents when using the Switch to Android application, although this case is rare, you can still use the manual method by using a data cable. However, keep in mind that iOS and Android devices use different cables.
You will need to have an On-The-Go (OTG) adapter to connect both types of cables or purchase a cable set consisting of a Lightning cable and a USB-C cable. If you use an adapter, connect the Lightning to OTG cable first, then connect the adapter to the Android device.
However, if you are using a Lightning and USB-C cable set, you can connect the cables directly. Make sure the cable is connected properly and both devices are connected correctly. During the data transfer process, avoid interfering with both devices and ensure the cable remains connected.
