REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Founder of the Indonesian Healthy Gadget Movement (GGSI) Prof.Dr.dr. Ridha Dharmajaya Sp BS (K) reminded the importance of use gadgets healthy to support the birth of a golden generation while taking advantage of the demographic bonus in 2045.
“Make it happen gadgets as a useful tool. “Convey important and positive information so that our desire to give birth to a quality generation, namely a generation that is healthy, smart and has good morals, can be achieved and the key to a golden generation towards 2045 can be realized,” said Ridha Dharmajaya in his official statement, Sunday (5/11/2023).
According to the professor at the USU Faculty of Medicine, there are two factors that have a negative impact on use gadgets What has the potential to disturb the younger generation is position and duration.

“The symptoms are often tingling in the hands and feet, dizziness, heavy shoulders, sore neck, and waking up not feeling refreshed,” he said.
He continued that these symptoms are often found among young people, such as the younger generation who are still in school, and no longer only come from 60 year old parents.
As a neurosurgeon, Prof Ridha admitted that he had encountered this phenomenon a lot since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Starting from these concerns, that is the reason GGSI is present in Indonesia, starting from Medan as the city where it lives.
“We are worried that our young generation in the future will be threatened by use gadgets that wasn’t right. “Moreover, if the initial symptoms mentioned above are left untreated and even continue for a long time, it will have an impact on nerve death,” he said.
Therefore, it is hoped that this activity can provide input and experience so that later the younger generation will not use it gadgets carelessly without knowing the side effects caused.
As we all know, Indonesia is currently experiencing a demographic bonus situation where the productive age is much greater than the non-productive age.
If it is not utilized properly and allows usage behavior gadgets which is continuously wrong, then according to Prof Ridha, the anticipated demographic bonus will actually become a demographic disaster by giving birth to a disabled generation. “Of course this nation’s dream of giving birth to a golden generation towards 2045 will be in vain,” he said.
