Jakarta: Since the acceleration of digitalization in Indonesia due to the pandemic, the need for electronic devices, aka gadgets, has increased to support daily activities. Currently, society’s digital adoption is increasingly high, supported by the increasing sophistication of gadgets.
With the high demand for using gadgets in every activity, the risk of gadget damage is increasing. Qoala Plus, through the Qoala Gadget Protection unit, announced a protection solution for Indonesian people’s gadgets.
Charles Yulivan, VP of Partnership at Qoala Gadget Protection, stated that protecting gadgets is very important to support community activities. “We provide two insurance products, namely Qoala Qomplete & Qoala Qomplete Flex. These two products offer more protection for gadgets which can be obtained when purchasing new gadgets, buying trade-ins for old gadgets and can be obtained during the 2023 Jakarta Fair.”
These two insurance products are claimed to provide additional protection for gadgets which functions as a complementary warranty facility for physical damage or liquid damage that occurs accidentally.
In the Qoala Qomplete Flex insurance product, the devices covered are various, namely all types of smartphones, tablets to laptops with protection limits varying from IDR 3 million to IDR 50 million according to the customer’s choice.
Meanwhile, the Qoala Qomplete insurance product provides protection for all types of smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, laptops and TVs with a protection limit according to the price of the device. During the Jakarta Fair 2023, customers who purchase the 12 month Qoala Qomplete insurance product will get additional protection so that the total protection they get is for a full 18 months.
“If damage occurs, customers don’t need to be confused about the claims process, claims can be made easily and quickly digitally via the Qoala application or by directly visiting the website. “Both insurances can be claimed more than once as long as the protection limit is still available and within the active period of the policy,” explained Charles.
After the claim is approved, the customer is given two options, namely coming directly to the nearest official Qoala partner service center or requesting that the damaged gadget be picked up, this pick-up and drop-off service does not have any additional costs. For pick-up and drop-off services, when repairs are complete, the gadget will be delivered from the service center directly to the customer.
All claims service processes from pick-up and drop-off, repairs at the service center to the journey to return the gadget to the customer can be tracked on the claims page, so that customers can transparently know how far the claim process is going. Qoala guarantees that gadget repairs are carried out by an official service center with original spare parts.
